Golden Hill State Park

Barker, New York

Welcome to Golden Hill State Park located in Barker, New York on the shores of Lake Ontario. Perhaps the greatest attraction of Golden Hill State Park is the 30 mile lighthouse, which was decommissioned by the United States Coast Guard in 1958. Here one can learn about the history of the lighthouse and it's keepers. The lighthouse can also be rented out for parties, reunions, and other events and boasts queen sized beds, old fashioned bathrubs, and stunning views of Lake Ontario. Some of the other amenities at Golden Hill State Park include a boat ramp, over 5 miles of multipurpose trails for all seasons, and much more. Come out and explore!
