Fort Greene Park

Brooklyn, New York

Welcome to New York City's Fort Greene Park located in Brooklyn. Fort Greene itself was first built for the Revolutionary War but was also used in the War of 1812. It was not long after the War of 1812 that it became a public space and officially became a park in 1847. Come out for a nice game of tennis and bring the kids to the playground.
