Gravesend Park
Welcome to New York City's Gravesend Park located in Brooklyn. The exact origin of the park's name is unknown but the two theories are that it's near the neighborhood of the same name which also happened to be New York's first English settlement, or that it's near a cemetery. Come out and shoot some hoops, hit a few home runs, or cool down at the water playground on a hot summer day.
