La Guardia Playground and Continental Army Plaza
Welcome to New York City's La Guardia Playground and Continental Army Plaza located in Brooklyn. These two parks are next to each other so they share a profile. Like one of the city airport's La Guardia Playground is named for former New York City mayor Fiorella La Guardia. Continental Army Plaza is named for all of those who served in the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War and has a statue of George Washington, a General in the Continental Army and the first President of the United States.
