LaFayette Gardens Playground
Welcome to New York City's LaFayette Gardens Playground located in Brooklyn. This park is named a great French citizen who served in the American Revolutionary War, Paul Yves Roch Gilbert Du Montier LaFayette (yes a long name I know). His influence was strong enough for General George Washington, the first President of the United States, to appoint him to the position of Major General in the Continental Army.
