Welcome to New York City's Wingate Park located in the Brooklyn section. This park is named after Civil War Union General and National Rifle Association co-founder George Wood Wingate. After the war Wingate trained many notherners in rifle shooting. This park has three full basketball courts, a walking track, and much more.
