Battle Island State Park
Welcome to New York's Battle Island State Park located in the central part of the state near Fulton. An 18th century battle occurred on a nearby island and this is how the park got it's name. It was given to the State of New York by it's last private owner F.A. Emerick in 1916 and first became a State Park in 1938. Today this park boasts a challenging 18 hole golf course and cross-country skiing in the winter. Come on out and explore.
