Welcome to Sprague Brook Park located in Glenwood, New York. Spraque Brook Park was first acquired in 1963 with the assistance of state and federal funding. Sprague Brook Park helps protect the home of numerous plant and animals species. Some of the plants that grow inside the park boundaries include butternut hickories, hawthorns, beeches, sycamores, black walnuts, Virginia bluebells, ostrich ferns, and pines. Some of the wild animals who call this place home include white-tailed deer, raccoons, squirrels, snowshoe hares, robins, woodpeckers, geese, ducks, and herons. Please treat their home with respect. For the lover of the outdoors Sprague Brook Park boasts two baseball fields, three tennis courts, hiking trails, numerous campsites (many with electricity), picnic tables, and much more. Come on out and have a blast!
