Mount Vernon New York Park Ordinances

*All parks open at 8:00 a.m. year round and close at 10:00 p.m. from May through October and at 8:00 p.m. November through April.

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, disorderly conduct, harming wildlife, littering, smoking.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles.

*All domestic animals must be leashed and waste removed.

*All persons ages 18 and older are prohibited from tot lots unless that person is engaging in the care of the child.
