Welcome to Martin Luther King Jr. Playground located in New York City's Harlem Section. Like many parks and streets around the nation this one was named for Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. who was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 15, 1929, fought many civil rights battles, and died in Memphis, Tennessee on April 4, 1968. Come out and cool down at the water playground on a hot summer day.
