Welcome to New York's beautfiul Clay Pit Ponds State Park Preserve located on Staten Island. This park helps protect a habitat of woodlands, wetlands, and sand barrens. This park also contains a rich cultural history of Native Americans, Europeans, and freed African slaves. It is a very popular field trip destination with local school students.
