Wantagh Park

Welcome to the great Wantagh Park in Wantagh, New York. This is a large and active community park that was first established in 1961 and one will not easily run out of things to do here. The park has a waterpark for hot summer days, over three miles of paved recreational trails, five tennis courts, bocce courts, a softball field, and much more. 

The park's swimming area has an olympic sized pool as well as seperate pools for divers and the kids. The aquatic playground is only for children ages 10 and under and all children under the age of four must be accompanied by an adult.

So come out and have fun at Wantagh Park! Also the ball diamonds and soccer fields are lighted and allow for night games. Using the boat launch requires special permits. Perhaps the most unique feature of this park is the annual Basset Hound Olympics which draw people from miles around.
