Griggs Reservoir Park

Welcome to Griggs Reservoir Park in Columbus, Ohio. The reservoir itself was first built in 1905 and named for Julian Griggs who was a city engineer for many years. Come out and spend a day on the river.

When visiting any park in Columbus, Ohio please respect the rules.

*All parks open at 7 a.m. and close at 11 p.m.

*The following activities require special permits; camping, sales and solicitations, posting of signs, scuba diving.

*All burning is restricted to picnic grills.

*Please respect all park property including trails, fences, buildings, bushes, and trees.

*The following activities are only allowed in designated areas; fishing, swimming, golfing, operating remote controlled cars, watercraft, or aircraft, ice-skating.

*Consumption of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited.

*No littering! Please help keep the parks clean and dispose of all trash in proper containers.

*All vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of Ohio traffic laws.
