Helen Hazen Wyman Park
Welcome Helen Hazen Wyman Park.
Park History: In the 19th century the land that is now Helen Hazen Wyman Park was in the middle of an industrial district that included a sawmill, an iron furnace, and a leather tannery. The stones of some of these buildings foundations can still be seen in the park today. In more recent years this land was once owned by a man named William Wyman who generously donated it to Lake County in memory of his mother Helen in 1959. Come on out and have fun.
