Fred Fuller and John Brown Tannery Park

Kent, Ohio

Welcome to Fred Fuller and John Brown Tannery Park located on the banks of the Cuyahoga River in Kent, Ohio. Fred Fuller Park was first established in 1934 when Lamson and Sessions Company generously donated the land to the city. Today it is home to the Kramer Field complex with 4 ball diamonds (some youth size and some adult sized and 2 lighted).

John Brown Tannery Park has some historic significance in that it's the location of an old tannery that was built in 1836 by an abolitionist known as John Brown. Today it is a great place for tubers and paddlers to launch into the Cuyahoga River.
