Pike State Forest
Welcome to the Pike State Forest sprawling across the hills of southern Ohio. The State of Ohio began purchasing the lands that make up Pike State Forest in 1924 and over the years the Civlilian Conservation Corps and many others have worked hard to heal the damage they sustained from agricultural, forest fires, and timber harvesting.
Wildlife: Pike State Forest helps protect the home of numerous wild critters including deer, raccoons, squirrels, foxes, and wild turkeys. Please treat their home with respect.
For the lover of the outdoors Pike State Forest boasts over 30 miles of horse trails and so much more. Come on out and explore.
