Welcome to Glacier Ridge Park located in Plain City, Ohio.

Park History: The landscape in and around Glacier Ridge Park was carved out by the retreat of the Wisconsin Glacier between 12,000 and 17,000 years ago. In more recent years much of this land was used for agricultural purposes. The Honda Motor Company gave a generous donation to help the park restore it's 250 acres of wetlands. The park's facilities are powered by a wind turbine and solar panels.

Flora and Fauna: Glacier Ridge Park helps protect the home of numerous plant and animal species. Some of the plants that grow inside the park boundaries include goldenrods, asters, and purple coneflowers. Some of the wild animals who call this place home include blue herons, turtles, ducks, and dragonflies. Please treat their home with respect.

For the lover of the outdoors Glacier Ridge Park boasts over 11 miles of multipurpose trails, a 25 foot observation tower, an 18 hole disc golf course, and much more. Come on out and explore.
