Caley Reservation
Caley Reservation is a beautiful wildlife preserve located near Pittsfield, Ohio. What was once farmland has returned to a forest and wetland state. It is a great place to come in the spring and see blooming wildflowers. This park is named for John Caley, the man who purchased this land in 1917. Once his widow passed on half a century later the land was deeded to the National Wildlife Federation which eventually donated it to Lorain County.
