Prairie Oaks Park
West Jefferson, Ohio
Prairie Oaks Park is a beautiful grasslands preserve in West Jefferson, Ohio. It is located on the banks of the Big Darby River which is both a state as well as nationally recognized scenic river. The open field is a great place for kite-flying on windy days.
Trails: Come out and explore miles of multipurpose trails. There is one trail exclusively for horses that is 5.7 miles in length.
Only non-motorized watercraft are allowed on the lakes.
Picnicking: The picnic shelters have grills so bring some meats for cooking.
