Welcome to Rigler Community Garden located on the campus of Rigler Elementary School in Portland, Oregon. This garden was first established in 2005 and believe it or not it was once a parking lot.

Portland, Oregon Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks close at 12:01 a.m. and open at 5:00 a.m.

*The following are prohibited; alcoholic beverages (except during special occasions under specific circumstances), defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering, tobacco products, weapons.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; archery, bathing, fires, fishing, golfing, motor vehicles, remote control aircraft, swimming. 

*The following require special permits; sales, setting off fireworks. 

*Please try to use the restrooms for all purposes of urination or defacation.

*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 8 feet) and waste removed.
