Silver Falls State Park
Welcome to Oregon's largest State Park and what is also one of it's most popular as well as most scenic, the magnificent Silver Falls State Park located not too far from Salem in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. Come out and explore over 25 miles of hiking trails and see several waterfalls including the 177 foot South Falls. The first humans arrived in this region about 14,000 years ago and they were members of the Kalapuya and Molalla Native American tribes. This land first became a State Park in the summer of 1933.
