Welcome to Pennsylvania's Joseph E. Ibberson Conservation Area, a hardwood forest preserve located on Peter's Mountain. For thousands of years before the first European settlers arrived in the region this was prime Native American hunting ground for the Paleo tribes. This park was established in December 1998 when the land's previous owner, Joseph Ibberson, a Yale graduate, generously donated the land to the State of Pennsylvania.
