Bendigo State Park
Welcome to Pennsylvania's Bendigo State Park located in the Appalachian foothills near Johnsonburg. The east branch of the Clarion River flows through the park and was once poisoned by mine runoff but now is a great stream for trout-fishing. This northern hardwood forest preserve was named after the village that once existed nearby which was named for William Abednego Thompson.
