Benjamin Rush State Park
Welcome to the beautiful Benjamin Rush State Park, Pennsylvania's only state park to be located inside the Philadelphia city limits. Many Philadelphians come here to relax or to explore the trails. Others also come for the remote control airplane field or to see the beautiful gardens. The Park is named for one of the founding fathers and a signer of the Declaration of Independence. His final career was being a treasurer of the U.S. Mint before he passed away from disease.
