Thomas Mitchell Playground

Welcome to Thomas Mitchell Playground in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This park was first established in 1968 and named for a local child who died a tragic death on his bicycle a few years earlier.

All of the park's athletic facilities are lighted.

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, harming of wildlife, littering.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles.

*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
