Boyce Park
Welcome to Boyce Park located in Monroevile, Pennsylvania.
Park History: Boyce Park was first established in 1963 and named for the founder of Boy Scouts of America, William Boyce, who grew up in the region. All of the parks picnic facilities are named for various Boy Scouts Associations such as Den, Eagle, Tenderfoot, and even Baden Powell. Archeologists have unearthed evidence that suggests that a Monongahela village was built on this land sometime in the 1300s.
For the lover of the outdoors this is the only park in Allegheny County that offers downhill skiing. There are lifts and a ski lodge known as "Four Seasons." Some of the other features of this park include a wave pool, a field for flying remote control aircraft (permit required), three soccer fields, tennis courts, multipurpose trails, and so much more. Come on out and have fun.
