Flight 93 National Memorial
Welcome to the Flight 93 National Memorial located in the beautiful countryside of Stoystown, Pennsylvania. It was here where the hijacked airliner United 93 crashed on September 11, 2001. Many consider this to be the first victory of the United States in the War on Terror. Unlike the people on board the other three hijacked flights, the people on board United 93 found out that they were aboard a suicide mission and they decided to fight back against the terrorists. As a result of their revolt, the pilots lost control of the plane and it crashed, nobody survived.
This was RecPlanet place of the day on September 11, 2015 and again on the same day in 2016 and yet again in 2017.
