Colton Point State Park

Wellsboro, Pennsylvania

Welcome to Pennsylvania's beautiful Colton Point State Park located at the edge of the Pine Creek Gorge which is often called "The Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania." Long before the first Europeans arrived in the region this place was a travel route for Native Americans and in more recent times it was heavily harvested for it's timber resources. It only became a state park as recently as 1993.
