Fort Wetherill State Park
Welcome to the beautiful Fort Wetherill State Park located on the Rhode Island in Jamestown not far from Fort Adams State Park. This park believe it or not is actually a very popular scuba diving location.
Park History: Fort Wetherill was once a military training facility that dates all the way back to the Revolutionary War and trained soldiers as recently as World War II. It was in 1972 that it finally became a state park.
