Barnwell State Park
Welcome to South Carolina's Barnwell State Park, a place that is very popular among members of the local community. Many of this park's amenities were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps under President Franklin Delano Roosevelt during the Depression Era. This park's 3 lakes are popular with the fisherman and are stocked with bass, bream, and catfish. Hikers come here to explore the park's nature trails and can catch a glimpse of deer, alligators, squirrels, wild turkeys, hawks, and others. The park's community building can be rented out for weddings, banquets, and other events. Several of the park's campsites have hookups. Come out and have fun.
