Welcome to South Carolina's Chester State Park located in the Piedmont region. This has been a popular recreation area ever since it first opened in the 1930's. The 160 acre lake is a great place for fishing. The Civilian Conservation Corps helped build many of the park's facilities. The only motorized boats allowed on the lake are those with electric motors.
