Welcome to the beautiful Santee Coastal Reserve Wildlife Management Area located on the Atlantic Coast near McClellanville, South Carolina. The Nature Conservancy generously donated this land to the State of South Carolina in 1974. Much of the habitat here consists of brackish, freshwater, and tidal wetlands that protect the habitat of many wild animals including migratory waterfowl and Loggerhead sea turtles. Come out and explore the trails, do some bird-watching, or even hunting when it's in season.
