Welcome to Baker Creek State Park located on the edge of the Sumter National Forest on the shores of Lake Thurmond in McCormick, South Carolina. The 10 miles of mountain biking trails attract many cyclists from miles around. The picnic shelter has a 160 person capacity and grills and a marvelous view of the lake. The lake itself is over 71,000 acres in size so come out and spend a day exploring it.
