West Whitlock State Recreation Area

Welcome to West Whitlock State Recreation Area located on the shores of Missouri River near Gettysburg, South Dakota. The park is named for the Whitlock Family that once owned the land but long before that it was a popular Native American campground. There is even the remains of an Arikara Earth Lodge still standing in the park today.
