Welcome to Port Royal State Park located on the banks of the Red River in Adams, Tennessee. Though small in size this park has a big story about the town of Port Royal which was first established in 1797 just one year after Tennessee gained Statehood. It became a regional tobacco town that used the Red River to send shipments down to New Orleans.
