Welcome to one of Nashville's largest recreation areas, the magnificent Shelby Park. This park first opened on the 4th of July in 1912. The tennis courts and ball diamonds are lighted so people can play at night. Come out and hit a few home runs, explore the trails, try your luck at one of the two golf courses, bring the kids to the playground or the dog to the dog park.
