Welcome to Pickett State Forest located in northeast Tennessee near the Kentucky State Line.

Most of the forest today is hardwood pine and most of the trees are over 40 years of age. There are also at least 46 known archeological sites within the forest boundaries.

Wildlife: Pickett State Forest helps protect the home of numerous wild animals including white-tailed deer, squirrels, raccoons, foxes, and hawks. Please treat their home with respect.

For the lover of the outdoors Pickett State Forest boasts over 35 miles of trails, rock climbing opportunities, and so much more. Come on out and have a blast!
