Welcome to Tennessee's lovely Pickwick Landing State Park, located on a tri-state reservoir on the Tennessee River. This lake is filled with all sorts of aquatic recreational opportunities. One can stay overnight at the Park Inn which has 119 rooms all with views of the lake. The dam itself was built by the Tennessee Valley Authority during the Great Depression Era and it was in 1970 when Pickwick Landing State Park first opened.

Boating and Fishing: All sorts of watercraft are allowed here. The lake and river are filled with catfish, bass, bluegill and crappie and each year major fishing tournaments are hosted here. All types of watercraft can be rented at the marina but one can also launch their own at one of the boat ramps.

Camping: The park has 48 campsites all with electricity and water.
