El Alamo Park is an active urban playground in Amarillo, Texas. The athletic facilities are lighted so people can play at night. Come out and cool down at the splash pad on a hot summer day. The picnic area has a grill so bring some meats for cooking. 

When visiting any park in Amarillo, Texas it is important to know the rules.

*All parks open at 5:00 a.m. and close at midnight.

*The following are all prohibited; defaciing public property, glass objects, harming wildlife, littering, weapons.

*All motor vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of Texas traffic laws.

*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.

Please report all violations to the parks department by calling 806-378-3036 or the police at 806-378-4261. For all emergencies please dial 911. Please respect these rules, the parks, and all local, State of Texas, and United States Statutes. Be safe and have fun.
