Welcome to Lake Colorado City State Park located off of Interstate 20 in Colorado City, Texas. Lake Colorado City was dammed up in 1949 and the park first opened in 1972. Some of the resident wildlife include armadillos and white tailed deer. Some of the fish in the lake include bass, crappie, and catfish.
