Welcome to Mission Tejas State Park located at the edge of the Davy Crockett National Forest in the town of Grapeland. This park was first established as a State Forest in 1935 but became a State Park in 1957. The Civilian Conservation Corps helped construct many of the park's facilities. One of the park's buildings was first constructed in 1828.
