Edgar & Essie Givens Park

Welcome to Edgar & Essie Givens Park, an active community park located in Plainview, Texas. This park has a walking trail that is nearly a half-mile long and also boasts a baseball/softball diamond, a soccer field, beautiful open space, and multipurpose courts used for tennis and basketball. Come out and have fun!

Plainview Texas Park Ordinances

*Please use parks during the designated hours of 7 a.m. and midnight.

*The following activities are only allowed in designated areas; use of picnic grills, camping, swimming, use of personal watercraft, flying of remote control aircraft, fishing, bicycling.

*The following activities require special permits; sales and solicitations, assemblies.

*No littering. Please help keep the parks clean and dispose of all trash in designated areas.

*All vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of Texas traffic laws.
