Welcome to the beautiful Goose Island State Park located on the Texas Gulf Coast near Rockport. The State of Texas purchased this land in the 1930's and many of the facilities were built the the Civilian Conservation Corps.

Camping: Goose Island State Park has dozens of campsites all with electricity and water.

Fishing: There is a fishing pier that is over 1600 feet long and one does not even need a license to fish here. Come out and catch something.

Wildlife: With over 300 species of birds this is a fantastic bird-watching destination. Some of the more terrestrial wildlife include raccoons, white-tailed deer, rabbits, and foxes.
