Welcome to Buescher State Park located near Smithville, Texas. This park is named for the land's previous owners who generously donated it to the State of Texas in the 1930's, Emil and Elizabeth Buescher. This park boasts over 8 miles of multipurpose trails as well as non-motorized watercraft rental.

Camping: Buescher State Park has a large campground. Some of the sites have both electricity and water and some just with electricity. Some of the sites are primitive sites without any hookups. For those who would rather sleep indoors the park has 3 cabins. Come out and stay a few nights.
