Welcome to Abilene State Park located in Tuscola, Texas on the banks of Elm Creek. The state first purchased this land in 1932 and the Civilian Conservation Corps helped build many of the facilities.

Boating: Lake Abilene only allows for non-motorized watercraft.

Camping: There are over 70 campsites with water and electricity.

Wildlife: Some of the park's many wild animals include cottontail rabbits, foxes, white-tailed deer, and raccoons. Please treat their home with respect when visiting.
