Welcome to Edge of the Cedars State Park Museum located near Blanding, Utah. This park is home to the largest collection of Ancestral Puebloan pottery in the Four Corners Region and boasts an authentic village behind the museum.

Park History: In the late 19th century cowboys who camped in the region named this place "Edge of the Cedars" due to it's location in a transition zone between desert and forest. In 1970 the place was designated a State Historical Monument and a year later in 1971 it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1974 the Navajo tribe donated the land to the State of Utah and the museum opened in 1978. Come on out and learn some history.
