Bryce Canyon National Park

Utah

Welcome to Bryce Canyon National Park, a place that is world famous for it's geology located in southwest Utah.

Park History: Bryce Canyon National Park, established in 1928, was named for the Mormon Pioneer Ebenezer Bryce. Over a long period of time the forces of water carved out the park's limestone to form the windows, fins, slot canyons, and spires called "hoodoos."

Flora and Fauna: Bryce Canyon National Park helps protect the home of numerous plant and animals species. Some of the plants that grow inside the park boundaries include spruces, firs, Ponderosa pines, Wyoming paintbrush, Western Iris, and Columbines. Some of the wild animals who call this place home include golden-mantled ground squirrels, coyotes, mountain lions, prairie dogs, rattlesnakes, tiger salamanders, horned lizards, ospreys, Peregrine Falcons, and California Condors. Please treat their home with respect.

For the lover of the outdoors Bryce Canyon National Park boasts many miles of multi-skill level trails, two campgrounds, some of the cleanest air in the world, views up to 200 miles, and so much more. Come on out and explore.
