Artesian Well Park

Welcome to Artesian Well Park located in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah, the State Capitol and world headquarters of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This park helps add a tenth of an acre to the website's acre counter. One can stop here for some hydration while walking around downtown.

Salt Lake City Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted most parks close between 10-11 p.m. and open at 5 a.m.

*The following require special permits; sales, solicitations, advertising, overnight camping, organized assembly.

*The following are prohibited; harrassing wildlife, alcoholic beverages, gambling, fireworks, weapons, hunting, fishing, littering, defacing public property.

*All dogs must be leashed no longer than six feet.

*Please use all athletic facilities for their designated purpose.

*All children ages 8 and up must use restrooms of their designated sex.
