Welcome to Deer Creek State Park nestled in the corner of Utah's magnificent Heber Valley.

Park History: In the late 1930's the Bureau of Reclamation began to build the Deer Creek Reservoir as part of the Provo River Project. In 1955, construction was complete and Deer Creek State Park was established in 1971. The Deer Creek Reservoir is six miles long, 65 feet deep, and boasts over 18 miles of shoreline. Much of the water is irrigated from the reservoir to be used for industrial purposes in cities such as Salt Lake City and Provo.

For the lover of the outdoors Deer Creek State Park boasts some of the best fishing in Utah, numerous aquatic sports, and so much more. Come on out and have a blast!
