Beach Park

Beach Park is located in Alexandria, Virginia behind Maury Elementary School. This small urban neighborhood park was first established in 1954 by the Rosemont Civic Association and contrary to what one might think, there are no swimming beaches at this park. The park is actually named after a woman named Lillian Beach, who once served as principal at nearby Maury Elementary School. To this day the Rosemont Civic Association still helps to maintain this park and it is also the site of the annual Oktoberfest Celebration. Come out and have fun!
